About the person behind it
I’m Slavko — a chess parent and player who’s spent fifteen years around this game. Most of what’s on this site comes from the ordinary side of that — standing at tournaments, sitting next to other parents, hearing terms I had to go and look up myself. Chess has its own language, and almost nobody translates it for the people who haven’t learned it yet.
That’s what Chess Dad is for.
